Log #3 A Slow Start
Hi!
This week I helped finish the design and tech doc with my colleagues. We also started brainstorming with our game-writing colleague about the story of our game. I also helped my teammates to get familiar with the Godot 4 engine and helped make our first basic player 2D controller.

Hey all, Guilherme here!
My group mates and I have been pretty busy with our master thesis, so the prototype is still very early in development. We did play around with our engine of choice, Godot 4, and made some basic 2D platformer controls.
That's it for the actual game dev work... I can promise log #4 and specially #5 will be a lot more interesting!
This week, most of our time was put into making the design and tech documents, as well as discussing the story of our game with our Game Writing course colleague :) See you next week!

Hello!
This week was pretty slow on the game development side. Me and my colleagues are all preoccupied with our master thesis, so our time is short.
In terms of game development I just got an initial view of the game engine we are going to use (Godot4), creating an initial player controller and understanding the basics of collisions and layers, with the help of my colleagues. Hopefully, this will be a great starting point to the development of the actual game!
